CAN'T YOU?!

Next is the 'Owl in Headlights' picture, which pertains to every picture of the Northern Saw-Whet Owl, but noone asked you, and I didn't say what I just said. Because I can't even talk through typing. (Shut up, I'm operating on 3.5hrs of sleep :]).

And finally, my favourite: The 'holeyshit+wtf = ' classic:

Beautiful.

Now I shall go back to the grievances of homework.

TingTing :3

    <lj:music>680News</lj:music>

I just finished the first book of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, author extraordinaire in the opinion of Stephanie Meyer.

Ms. Evanovich, with all respect, you are SUCH a bubblegum writer. I mean, WOW. Even 'novels' pointed to teenage girls aren't as pink and feminine as Stephanie Plum! And by that, I don't mean white lace elbow gloves and swooning, if you know what I mean. Which you probably don't. Which is, or was, expected.

Anyways, for anyone who's reading this, Evanovich is the perfect writer if you just want to have one of those typical-woman-evokes-sense-of-girl-power feelings on a gooey-chocolate-bingy day, but if you're like me, you'd stick to something that doesn't have as much a risk to rotting your brain through all that sugaryness. Again, I want to EMPHASIIIIIIIIIIIIIZE that it's NOT ladylike sugaryness, but more of a I'VEGOTAKILLERBODYANDNICEBREATSANDOMGOMGOMGWILLYOULOOKATTHATIT'SAHUNKYHUNK! thing. Yeah. That pretty much sums it up.

Now, before anyone comes and pummels me with an iron hammer, allow me to say that I enjoyed this book yesterday night, when I was in a particularly weepy/mushy/DON'TLOOKATMEIFYOUWANTTOLIVEDAMNIT mood. Not that anyone was at home to look at me, which was a good thing. A very good thing.

Here's the Amazon website of it, by the way: http://www.amazon.ca/One-Money-Stephanie-Plum-Novel/dp/0312990456/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1203808095&sr=8-1

So there's my rant.

Hope you enjoyed it!

Now that I come to think of it, I sort of liked doing this book rant. Hummmm, maybe I shall do it again... mwahaha. It was fun.

OMG LET'S START A NEW RANT! YEAH! ABOUT DEADMAN WONDERLAND~

SUCH a good manga. I LOVVVVVVVE it. It's shonen, by the artist of EUREKA 7, but with with more mature content. Not that I'm a good judge of that since I've only watched the anime of EUREKA yet I'm reading the manga of Deadman Wonderland. From Baka-Updates Manga:

"Ganta Igarashi has been convicted of a crime that he hasn't committed, and sent to a new, privately owned and operated prison, where the inmates are the main attraction in a modern day twist to the gladiatorial coliseums of ancient times. Throw in a healthy dose of weird little girl, some new-found super powers, and a little conspiracy theory, and you have Deadman Wonderland. "

Yups. Kakoi desu ne? Majirun (??) desuuuuuuuuuuuuuu~

READ IT! http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=13626

TingTing:3

PS> I just heard a news report on 680News... I've heard my someone (mom?) mention it before, but when I heard it a few seconds ago, it just hit me more... well, it just hit me, I guess. You probably don't know WHY it's particularly significant to me (just another dead girl........................), but every dead living organism should have some recognition, so here's a bit for you:

http://www.thestar.com/article/303669

Thanks.
